Born and raised in Montreal, I have lived in Russell, Ontario, near Ottawa, for the past 24 years. It's here that my wife and I raised our family of three girls.
For the better part of my life I have been involved in animated film, most notably co-directing the series 'ThRaccoons' and directing the feature, 'The Nutcracker Prince'.
I also wrote and illustrated a children's book, called 'Monsters Don't Count'.
At every chance, when time has permitted, I've concentrated on my love of art. My first medium of choice was watercolours, supplemented by pastels and silk-screening.
But in recent years I have turned my attention almost exclusively to oils. Oils offer a richness and depth of colour that I'm partial to. An avid photographer, I draw inspiration from the surrounding landscapes and from those lands further afield that I have had the privilege to see.
